Fairy Tail - Max Shade Concept Art

Finally got a name for this guy.

So his Gauntlet magic works like a lacrima that absorbs other peoples magic until they become full up. Max can then use the Gauntlet with the magic ability that was absorbed. If he wants to change the ability in the Gauntlet, he activates the glove's overdrive which maximizes the power output therefore dealing more damage in a short period of time. Once empty, he can re-absorb another type of magic. He can also combine magic if he half fills the gloves with two different types of magic. 
Without magic, Max can only use the gloves as melee weapons which he is still skilled at.

There are limitations to what kinds of magic he can absorb. He can't absorb;
Any kind of re-equip magic
Certain types of script magic
Enchantment magic
Memory-make magic
